Homes for Sale in Duboce Triangle, San Francisco, CA
Duboce Triangle is a mixed-use neighborhood in the central portion of San Francisco, southwest of the city’s Downtown District. The triangle-shaped suburb is bordered by Market Street, Castro Street, and Duboce Avenue. Centrally located, the neighborhood offers easy access to many of the primary business centers of the city. Market Street itself connects to Downtown San Francisco making the area an excellent option for busy professionals working in the city center. There are plenty of retail and dining options available to families in the community, while nearby parks offer fantastic outdoor recreation. Residents are also a short walk away from The Castro neighborhood, which is home to fantastic entertainment whenever you want to spend some time outside with friends.
Similar to other neighborhoods in the heart of San Francisco, most homes in Duboce Triangle feature classic Victorian and Edwardian architecture. These residences were built around the 1900s and 1920s but have received several upgrades and rebuilds through the years. A significant number of newer home builds have replaced the original homes offering additional diversity in the area’s available supply. Unlike the Western Addition, Duboce Triangle residents rejected the proposal to convert to public housing proposed in the 1960s. This is why most real estate in this relatively smaller suburb still retains its attached single-family home lot layouts.

What's Not To Love
Many homes in Duboce Triangle are a bit dated, most of which were built during the early 20th century. Property prices in the neighborhood are double the median home price in the city, but it is to be expected due to its location and overall value.
