These original homes feature the classic Victorian or Edwardian designs, with more modern contemporary designs showing up in the middle to late 20th century. The southern portion of Mission Dolores still retains many of these home styles providing ample options for a comfortable single-family home in San Francisco. There has been significant redevelopment in the suburb as the city grew and developed from its early industrial roots.
